Swing Shift Production/Machine Operator

Job Decription:

We make custom plastic parts which means there are some products that need special attention and a keen eye for detail.  The job entails trimming, quality control, keeping count of product numbers, machine operating, assembly work, maintaining machinery, mixing materials, cleaning areas and keeping the machines supplied with materials.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Good work ethic
  • Proactive with a good attitude
  • Attention to detail to maintain quality of products
  • Good communication skills to make sure people things are done properly
  • Hand eye coordination for trimming, placing, and making parts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in their work place

Master Machinist/Mold Maker

Job Decription:

We make custom plastic injection molds out of aluminum and steel that have tight tolerances. Each project is custom which means it takes specialization for each job with a keen eye for detail. The job will concentrate on machining the design given and correlating with the designer to find the best way to accomplish the desired plastic part.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Machining with Fadal’s and Hyundai (Fanuc Control or aptitude to learn quickly)
  • Leadership Skills
  • Some experience with design
  • Read blueprints and work from CAD files
  • Program CNC Mill in MasterCam or SurfCam
  • Innovative
  • Detail oriented
  • Fast Learner
  • Good Attitude
  • Mold making experince
  • Work well as a TEAM player

Machines and CAD Programs: (more than 1 a plus)

Fadal CNC Mills, Lathes, 
Wire EDM, Grinders, Charmille EDM Sinker, Solidworks, MasterCam, SurfCam. Looking for experience in machining custom high precision tools for injection molding and blow molding. Looking for someone who is proficient in these areas above and has some experience with this type of machinery that can jump right in and start machining.

Compensation:

Depending on experience the pay is anywhere from $15-$30/hr. Will be determined and negotiated upon interview. We offer holiday pay, 2 week PTO and possible company sharing depending on commitment and production speed.



Design Engineer Position

Job Decription:

The job will concentrate on machining the design given and correlating with the designer to find the best way to accomplish the desired plastic part.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Research, design, and develop parts, assemblies, and fixtures that best met clients’ needs.
  • Analyze part designs submitted for quoting, and report findings to management.
  • Optimize client’s design for moldability and mold manufacturability.
  • Design plastic injection molds, with input from management and the machine shop.
  • Compile the Bill of Materials for purchase of mold materials and components.
  • Incorporate design changes into existing molds, with input from management and the machine shop.
  • Maintain library of designed parts, assemblies, molds, and fixtures.

Qualifications:

  • Strong CAD skills, SolidWorks preferred.
  • Must have good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have very high quality standards and pay close attention to detail.
  • Candidates should have a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of machining preferred.
  • Knowledge of injection molding preferred.
  • Appreciation of business demands in correlation with time management skills.
